One’s Purpose

I feel blessed to be able to believe in a supreme being. My faith has carried me up in numerous times, showing me hope and giving me power when I thought I didn’t have enough strength. The presence of a God, whatever names are used to represent Him, gives me a sense of fulfillment and protection, and I don’t feel alone.

While still having a very limited understanding of the blessings I have, in my heart, I believe one of them is believing there are infinite cycles that I will live and die, and each of one of them brings a lesson and gives me an opportunity to find a meaningful reason to exist.

I am small in comparison to the Universe, one in a multi-billion population. The colossal beauty and perfection of the microcosms and macrocosms that science knows proves unbreakable laws of physics, chemistry, and math. This framework makes me believe there is a superior force that knows about my own challenges, fears, insecurities and is helping me navigate through them.

Life poses a great opportunity for inner growth, forcing me to re-evaluate my deepest feelings and behaviors. My body is not the same as used to be, but I can see more inside myself than I could decades ago.

Family and friends have shown me the way to the amazing healing power of love, that help patches my invisible wounds. One special person, called Fabiana, inspired me to write this blog.

We all have an opportunity to start again, from scratch, every single day. We can do things in a completely different manner if you have the will.

Everywhere, we find athletes, leaders, parents, sons, and daughters be given the opportunity to become more powerful and achieve things that were impossible.

We can use our force to win inner our battles, redesign our dreams, appreciate more our little achievements and kick start new beginnings. Start today by caring and forgiving yourself as well as with others.

Today, I celebrate life, an opportunity to reinvent who we are and do good for us and for others.
