COVID: Is it safe to travel during Christmas?

We have heard Dr. Fauci loud and clear: travel increases our chance of getting and spreading COVID-19. Staying home is the best way to protect ourselves and others from COVID-19. The case numbers are skyrocketing, and it’s on us to control and stop the spread.
But, if you really have to, CDC has a few suggestions:
While planning your trip:
1 Know the local quarantine guidelines
2 Find the right airline
3 Choose your seats wisely
4 Get a COVID-19 test
5 Stock up on COVID-fighting essentials
Before your flight:
1 Avoid crowded airport shops
2 Skip the check-in line
3 Limit germs on your luggage
At the airport and during your flight:
1 Wear a mask
2 Keep your distance
3 Wash or sanitize your hands regularly
4 Avoid touching your face, eyes, mouth, and nose
During your flight:
1 Wipe the germs away
