Our Mindset

I had a few a-ha moments as I was listening to a podcast about mindfulness and the importance of it for professional athletes. We often hear about how the mind rules our lives. But what does that exactly mean?

In my own experience, on the same day, I can feel my best and worst, depending on what I choose to focus on and spend my energy.

My mind goes so fast that in a split of a second, it can vary dramatically, and change the direction of where I am focusing my energy on. As it turns, my emotions change, and consequently, my body reacts.

Heal by Love

Healing with Love and Faith

After watching the documentary “Heal” at Netflix, I decided to attend an energy healing session with one of the guests, and now share with you all.

The documentary triggered my curiosity, as one of the discussed topics was the impact of our emotions on our bodies and mental health. Many people with chronic conditions such as autoimmune diseases, were part of that program and wanted to try something different than what Western medicine offers. Good Dog

Lately, I have spent much more time at home and with my dog. My large Rhodesian Ridgeback, who is sweet and goofy, bringing a smile to everyone around him.

He knows when I am not in my best self, he quietly crawls by my side, lays down, sets his entire body close to mine. That’s his way of saying “I am here for you”. Pets are sometimes much better than humans, you know.
